Scope and Content
Copy of a letter from H. Bint to Svatikov concerning the acquisition and remittance to him of certain documents pertaining to the Okhrana and its activity. The author of the letter wishes to state to Svatikov that he has given into his hands documents concerning the Okhrana, at the time of greatest interests were documents concerning Lenin and Trotsky's activity, but since Svatikov also expressed interest in Rachkovsky's fraud, the author promised to provide him with one of the pertaining documents, which he has done several years later in 1926. He was approached by a Mr. Minor, who wished to purchase his archive in the name of the "Bolsheviks", but, despite the much more substantial financial recompensation, Bint refused to sell, since the documents were already promised to Svatikov. The letter appears in Russian and French.
