Scope and Content
The file contains correspondences from April till June 1939. The file is the first part of the Verfilmungsprojekt "Die Protokolle der Weisen von Zion" by the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich; Archiv für Zeitgeschichte for 1939. The topics in the letters concern, among other things, the publishing of an antisemitic book by the Welt-Dienst concerning the Bern trial and the Protocols of the wise man of Zion. Court records and reports will be published in this book and explained by Hans Jonak von Freyenwald. The article that reports on the upcoming book has been shared by the Jewish Central Information Office. Also the trial of Leonhard against Loosli and other inconveniences, which Loosli had to accept just because he campaigned for democracy and Antisemitism, are discussed.
