Scope and Content
The file contains two reports, one report is regarding press releases concerning the third Zionist congress in Vienna, on the 25. August 1899 and informations about the Jewish General Bank (Jüdische Generalbank), the other report informs about press releases concerning the tactics of the German expert in the Bern trial. Several newspapers in Germany and Austria reported about the events on the Jewish congress and in the Jüdische Generalbank, which have been summarized in the report attached. The second report provides information on anti-Semitic press releases in Germany and Austria in order to disseminate the German approach to conspiracy theories and to introduce racial laws and discrimination against the Swiss law.
