Scope and Content
The file contains the sixth and sevens Bulletin from a series of Bulletins dealing with events in the Bern trial. It has been published by the Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities in Switzerland. This Bulletin is regarding the forth day of trial on the 2st of Mai 1935. Since autumn 1934 the trial has been prepared in order to hear the case about the 'Protocols of the Wise man of Zion'. At this day the sixth and the seventh sessions were opened by judge Walter Meyer. Shortly before the beginning of the trial, an article was published in the Swiss press, which Ruef criticized in the sharpest terms and explained that such articles have no place in the Swiss press. Then Fleischhauer continued his expertise, although the judge pointed out that Baumgarten needed only 3 hours and Fleischhauer used already 3 sessions.
