Scope and Content
The file contains an expertise regarding the 'Protocols of the Elders of Zion'. The expertise starts with a short summary of the 'Protocols', as the Bern criminal court wanted the nominated experts to answer some questions regarding the Protocols. The questions which had to be answered were: 'Was the Protocols of the Elders of Zion a forgery? Was it plagiarized? If it was, what was its source? Do the Protocols fall under the term Schundliteratur?' So to understand the expertise and to be able to answer the questions from the court the structure and the main ideas of the 'Protocols' have been centralized. Baumgarten declared the 'Protocols' as a plagiarism and a forgery produced by helpers of the tsarist Russian Okhrana. The connection between the 'Freumaurer' (Freemason) and the 'Protocols', as well as the not mention of Zionism are arguments, among others, against the authenticity. On 119 pages Prof. Baumgarten explains in detail his expert opinion. In his conclusion he explains that the presented plans of an alleged existing Jewish secret government have nothing to do with the cultural, political and economic goals of Judaism.
