Scope and Content
Markov writes to Toedli saying that he is, indeed, a confirmed antisemite, and that he has large quantities of material concerning the Jewish conspiracy. He began the war on the forces of darkness since the publication of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. He has just now found out that the Bern trial is imminent and regrets he cannot deliver documents on time. What scattered fragments he has will only harm the defense. He is under financial pressure from the world's Jews and is afraid that due to his financial circumstances he does not travel, not even inside France. He has prepared a brochure which should be translated and distributed. The letter is followed by a typed summary in French. The summary is only partly accurate.
