Scope and Content
The story of the young partisan fighter Ilya Kuzin is told, from his childhood, where a leg injury set him back to his heroic exploits in the fight against the Nazis. The account tells of ambushes, heroic fights, setbacks and is intended to raise morale and show the Russian people resilient and willing to give everything to overcome the Nazi invaders.
