Scope and Content
The pamphlet contains the history of the "Committee Free Germany in the West". Its foundation, struggle, and continued fight against the Nazis is recounted through anecdotes and eyewitness reports. The work of the Travail Allemand (T. A.) is described. Clandestine newspapers, and fliers were distributed at various locations and POW camps. The deaths of Philipp Kohl, a journalist, Thomas Berthold and other resistance fighters are recounted.
