Scope and Content
The pamphlet discusses the newly created radio station "Free Germany" which is meant to speak to the German people. Its programs are recorded by emigrants in the Soviet Union and intended to "re-educate" the German people. The publication provides an overview of the last years of the war and the progress made by the Allies, envisioning a future for Germany after most of the actively involved Nazis have been brought to justice. The appendix includes a Manifest to the German Army and People which was issued by the National Committee "Free Germany" on July 14th, 1943.
