Die deutsche Widerstandsbewegung gegen Hitler

The booklet is part of a series of educational material for history taught in German schools from 1952. It tries to put the resistance movements in their historic place which already in the 50ies were put into different narratives in the West, the Soviet Union and its satellites and in Germany itself. It is meant to facilitate the education of this subject with the help of primary sources written by resistance fighters or their family members. Parallels or differences to other resistance movements in history are drawn upon and should be incorporated in the syllabus.
