The booklet relates the tale of the Resistance fighters, approximately a hundred thousand men and women who fought for a common goal, without knowing one another, were often arrested, tortured and eventually killed. He wishes to leave his testimony and his recognition for these people who lived and died in solitude and anonymity. Although they believed in the good, and fought heroically, they often were thought of as “terrorists” and their movement of a “crime army”. The author talks about his feelings regarding the dead, especially his two beloved friends that were killed on the last day of the liberation war and his responsibility as their commander.
