The publication from 1934 is a compilation of jokes which were according to the author “collected in Germany between February to November 1933." Some the of the jokes the author created himself, most of them he heard from others in various places and situations: whispered when imprisoned, in unemployment offices, in the circle of friends and families, and some even from the mouth of dissatisfied Nazis.
