Scope and Content
The publication discusses the phenomenon of fascism and its changes to world peace. It announces the creation of a 'Centre for Anti-fascistic Studies and Action', which was inaugurated on April 25th, 1937. Representatives from 14 nations were present. The by-laws stated that national and international organizations and individuals will accept the manifesto "Friede und Demokratie" (Peace and Democracy). Members include Thomas Mann, Pablo Neruda, Jose Gaos, Paul Langevin and H. G. Wells. It will consist of a documentation center, a press- and information center and a propaganda and int. liaison office. The appendix includes the obituary of Carlo Roselli, a founding member.
