Scope and Content
The booklet eulogizes in its foreword Pope Pius XI who had died on February 10th, 1939. It then concentrates on the opposing worldviews of Fascism and Christianity, with the conviction that the word of Christ will prevail. The events of 30. June 1934 (Night of the Long Knives), in which many Catholics lost their lives, are analyzed. It was part of the 'Kulturkampf' (culture war) between Christianity and National socialism. The main points of Rosenberg's worldview and on his views on Christianity are quoted and discussed.
