Scope and Content
The pamphlet warns of the dire consequences of the rise of fascism especially for the working class. It informs the reader regarding several issues effecting the working class: the state of trade unions in Germany (1930 Germany’s trade unions had 8 million members, while today they do not exist), the established new confidence council that has no decision-making power, the abolition of the right to strike in Italy and Germany, and the rising cost of living. It is also clear to the writers of this pamphlet that the Nazis are preparing for war. They claim that the official inflation figures are doctored and are in fact actually much higher.
