Scope and Content
The publication is a compilation of addresses and messages delivered at the Peace and Democracy rally at Madison Square Garden on March 15th, 1937. Among the speakers were Joseph Tenenbaum, Stephen S. Wise, president of the American Jewish Congress, Erika Mann, Fiorello H. LaGuardia, and General Hugh S. Johnson. Short statements from members of the Senate and Congress and other organizations from all over the world are included at the end of the booklet.
