Extent and Medium
1 electronic resource (22 pages)
Scope and Content
The purpose of this publication is to give a British audience an idea of the scope of clandestine newspapers available in France supporting resistance and activities against the occupation. Most of the articles are small, short stories describing the heroism and struggle of the people involved, their refusal to be deported for work to Germany, and their yearning for a free France. One article includes a list of attacks and sabotages during the second half of October 1943.
