The first yearbook of the “Vereinigung der Verfolgten des Naziregimes – VVN“ (Association of the persecuted of the Nazi regime) is a reflection on the history of the VVN and the future of the Democratic Republic of Germany. Almost each date lists the persecution, abuse and murder of a member of the SPD, KPD or Jewish citizen during the Nazi period. The history of the VVN is told, its purpose and agenda described. Summaries from previous conferences and meetings are provided. The FIAPP – Federation Internationale des Ancien Prisonniers Politiques is presented and its agenda explained.
