The publication by the VVN (Vereinigung der Verfolgten des Naziregimes – Association of the persecuted of the Naziregime) issued guidelines for the recognition and support for politically, racially or religiously persecuted citizens. It includes a transcript of the court case against Helmuth Hübner, and essays called “Stimmen der Zeit” (voices of our time) by Karl Schirdewan, Prof. von Hentig, and Peter Waterkotte. Prof. Friedrich Hirth and Dr. O. Meyer write movingly about Heinrich Heine.
