In the collection there is documentation regarding the administration of the Central Committee of the Communist party (Tsk VKP(b)-Tsentralny Komitet Vsesoyuznoy Kommunisticheskoy Partii Bolshevikov), including information, official correspondence and reports regarding partisan and underground activity in the occupied areas of the Soviet Union, 1941-1944, lists of Jewish partisans and Red Army soldiers, lists of the Jews from Hungary who served in Hungarian Army forced labor battalions and were taken captive by the Red Army, investigative reports, personal letters and Sovinformbyuro (Soviet Information Bureau) documentation. There is also much documentation from the years 1941-1948 regarding the relations between the Tsk VKP(b) and the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee (EAK) on various matters such as their attitude towards the establishment of the State of Israel, Jewish culture, including Yiddish newspapers, and the closing down of newspapers in Yiddish, the disbanding of the Writers' Association and official documentation regarding the disbanding of the EAK.
