Sent from Badgastein, Austria. News that Ernst and Lucie are to have another child. He is enjoying the summer; is staying with Minna [sister of Martha Bernays] and will be meeting up with Martha [Bernays], Anna and Ernst in Tirol.

Comments on the poor public conditions in Vienna, but that he is able to recover quickly financially. He is able to "talk to Englishers 4-5 hours a day" for his work due to increased fame overseas.

His mother, Dolphi and Pauli are spending the summer in [Bad] Ischl, Austria, and Eli's second daughter, Lucy ?Wicher, is living in Berlin with her two sons.
