The papers were found amongst the possessions of W. Bro. F. S. Morrison, formerly caretaker and caterer at the Masonic Temple, Jersey, by his wife. The originals were deposited at the library of the above temple and copies were sent to the depositor by W. Bro. Dennis G. Perrin, curator of the above library, who was researching into the persecution of Freemasons by Nazis on Jersey.

These copy papers document Nazi fascination for and persecution of Freemasonry on the island of Jersey, Channel Islands, in the immediate aftermath of the looting of Jersey's Masonic Temple in 1941.
