Biographical History

Hans Heinrich Lammers (1879-1962), was a career civil servant, who joined the Nazi party in 1932 and was appointed by Hitler to chief of the Chancery on 30 January 1933, and promoted to Reichsminister on 26 November 1937. After 1941, the power and influence that Lammers was used to wielding passed increasingly to Marti Bormann.
