Biographical History

Dr Hans Kimmel was a Jewish-Austrian lawyer who fled to Australia in 1939. Having worked there as a journalist he became aquanited with Alfred Wiener's daughter Ruth. Kimmel moved to England in the 1950s.

Scope and Content

Correspondence regarding the consignment of two volumes of Sidney’s Jewish Community , and an enquiry by Kimmel for employment at The Wiener Library.
