Biographical History
Frederick Elwyn Jones, Baron Elwyn-Jones of Llanelli (1909-1989) was a Welsh barrister and Labour politician, who had served as MP, Attorney General and Lord Chancellor. Jones was also appointed Junior British Counsel during the Nuremberg Trials and Leading Prosecutor at the trial of former Wehrmacht general Erich von Manstein in 1948. He also led the prosecution of the infamous Moors murderers in 1966.
