The Jewish Museum London is a museum of British Jewish life, history and heritage founded in 1932. It houses some major international-level collections reflecting and displaying Jewish life in the UK since the 11th century. This also includes a wide range of objects, documents, photographs and oral testimonies from refugees from Nazism and Holocaust survivors.
Scope and Content
Correspondence regarding the mutual acquisition of books and articles, the withdraw of Alfred Wiener from the museum’s Board of Trustees, and invitations to social events. The latter includes an appointment to meet Hannah Arendt who served as Executive Secretary of the Jewish Cultural Reconstruction (JCR) at this time and visited London in January 1950.
