Biographical History

Gabriele Tergit (pseud. of Elise Reifenberg, born Hirschmann; 1894-1982) was a Jewish-German journalist known for her court reports. In 1933 she had emigrated to Prague, Palestine, and later to England.

Scope and Content

Correspondence on several issues, primarily about and copy reviews of her novel Effingers. Briefly mentioned is the sending of an unidentified report of experiences of Terezin.
