Archival History
The fonds arose from the activities of the town self-government. Initially, the files were stored chronologically according to case numbers. In 1892, the registry was divided into seven subject groups marked with Roman numerals. The files were marked with a registration number, consisting of a Roman numeral, a year and an Arabic numeral. This system was used by the municipality until about 1928. The archives were located at the town hall and after the establishment of the local museum were joined with the museum. After 1950, the separate local archives were created in Jistebnice, but in 1964 it was abolished. The fonds was handed over to the Tábor District Archives and processed in 1964.
