Historia

The Institute of History was founded in 1972 (1940) and is aimed at studying the history of the Albanian people in Albania and abroad from the ancient times to the present day.

Zasoby archiwalne i inne

The Archive of the Institute of History consists of documents brought by researchers' expeditions to foreign archives, as well as various materials brought by libraries and other scientific institutions.

This archive has a significant number of documents and unpublished monographs. It holds documents from American, British, French, Austrian, Italian, Turkish, Greek, Bulgarian, Kosovar, Macedonian, Montenegrin, Croatian and Serbian archives.
