    A copy of the Bulgarian Census in Kavala in 1942 (395 pages, 884 passport-size photos); a complete list (taken from the Bulgarian archives and translated into Greek) of the Jews of Kavala deported in 1943; 1.667 pages of testimony documenting the identities of Holocaust victims from Kavala (this testimony sent by S. Tsimino to Yad Vashem in the framework of the International Campaign for the Collection and Commemoration of Holocaust Victims' Names).

    Contains records related to the history of the Jewish communities of Greece. The archives are organized into 28 thematic sections. The most important topics are: 1. History of Greek Jewry and Jewish communities of Thessaloniki, Kerkyra [Corfu], Larissa, Volos, Trikala, Zakynthos, Chania, Preveza, Sparta, Chalkis and other major Jewish centers; 2. Antisemitism, Nazi occupation and Holocaust; 3. Collections of Jewish periodicals (Kerkyra and Athens); 4. Records of the Greek Jewish family names, personal correspondence, literary essays and poetry.

    This collection holds the archives of a Jewish family's company that exported tobacco from the port of Kavala. This company was the only large Jewish company in post-war Kavala. The family that led the company also donated its family archives from the Holocaust period and documents pertaining to the family's attempts at restitution after the Holocaust.

    A map with dimensions 1,45 by 2,46 meters, on which are plotted individual and communal properties (mostly Christian and Jewish) which were destroyed by the Bulgarians in the arson of the city in 1913. Although not connected directly to the Holocaust, it is very useful for understanding of the city's Jewish past.

    The Archive consists of public administrative documents, mainly concerning the region of Central Macedonia, Greece. There are plenty of verdicts by local courts, citizen’s applications as well as administrative correspondence between the local authorities. Related to the Holocaust of Greek Jews is a report made by the Prefecture of Kozani (Central Macedonia region, Greece) on 9/2/1944, referring to Greek prisoners. Among others there are two Jewish names: Algava Bension (Αλγκαβα Μπενσιόν) from Thessaloniki and Zach Abraham (Ζακ Αβραάμ) from Volos.

    It contains unpublished and published sources about the Jews of Serres. The most important source is the “Old Municipal Registries of Jews” which constitutes the official book of the municipal archive and which ended in the possession of Nikolaou.

The relevant topics are the situation of the Greek Jews in Greece and Egypt, the German compensations to the Holocaust victims.

    For the period of the early 20th century , there are judicial decisions concerning the financial affairs of the Jews in Volos. For the period of the Second World War, there are decisions concerning trade and economic disputes with Christians. For the postwar period, decisions relating to death certificates (mainly from the period 1946-1950), property looted by the Germans, the case of the Christian shopkeepers who had been affected by fire and claimed Jewish property, decisions on compensation to victims of the Nazi period (1961-1964).
