  1. Research by David Inowlocki on hidden children and their rescuers in Belgium. Collection

    This collection consists of 57 research files. Every file was carefully composed by David Inowlocki during his presidency of the Hidden Children Association Belgium (L’Enfant Caché). The files revolve around a hidden child or a rescuer, and contain photocopied documents and proposals in order to request Yad Vashem to award a rescuer the title of Righteous among the Nations.

  9. Membership forms of the Vereeniging der Joden in België - Association des Juifs en Belgique. Series

    The collection "membership forms of the Association of Jews in Belgium" contains digitised copies of ca. 12,000 registration forms filled in by Jewish families in Belgium, which became members of this organisation as was required after the decree of 25 November 1941. Each form consists of the names of every family member living under the same roof, their dates and places of birth, their date of immigration, their faith, their profession, the family address, the number of rooms in the house and the property owner.

    The German decree of 28 October 1940 made it compulsory for all Jews from the age of 15 to register in the Jewish register of the municipality where they officially lived.     The Transportlisten series consists of two parts : KD_00013_01 : The first part contains the carbon doubles of the original lists of all transports (Jews, Roma and Sinti) from the SS-Sammellager Mecheln (Dossin barracks) to Auschwitz-Birkenau, Buchenwald, Ravensbrück, Vittel and Bergen-Belsen.     This collection consists of two class photos taken in May 1941 of the girls attending the fifth and sixth grade at the Institut Bosquet in Antwerp. Among these girls are donor Colette Gilles de Fontenailles-Van Dooren and her Jewish classmates Eugenie Chor (who did not survive deportation from the Dossin barracks to Auschwitz-Birkenau via transport XVII), Nini Berneman (who survived the war in hiding in the Belgian Ardennes), Renée Landau (who survived the war by fleeing to Switzerland) and an unidentified Jewish girl.
