    Fonds consists of the following series of textual records: Correspondence, 1909-1979; Subject files, 1918-1975; and Printed material, n.d., 1934-1973. The fonds contains photographs depicting the activities of Lazarus Phillips in business, financial and community affairs, and in federal politics, 1904-1966.

    Series consists of publications from a variety of Canadian and foreign sources on Zionism, the Holocaust and other subjects. Of special interest is a report, "Jews in Nazi Europe", Feb. 1933 to Nov. 1941: A Study Prepared by the Institute of Jewish Affairs, 1941 as well as Rabbi Charles Bender's paper, "From Luther to Hitler", n.d. There are also many publications published in Hebrew and Yiddish.
