A number of organisations dealing with the problems of refugees are represented. The papers at -/5 which document his activities viz representing the interests of individual refugees and his presence on a number of committees involved in similar work are testament to his commitment to the cause of refugees.

An addition to the original foreward, dated 1975, suggests that this version is a transcript copy. In addition to the diary there are a number of her personal documents form the period. The diary is dated Obersdorf, Allgäu, 1945.
