    In this diary Mozes Isaak (Maurice) Sand recounts daily life as a forced labourer in an Organisation Todt camp in France (August-October 1942), as a refugee in France (winter 1942) and as a member of the French resistance (1943-1944). The notes include detailed reports on the treatment of Jews in the French camps, Mozes Isaak Sand’s return to Belgium in 1942, his personal life and international politics.

    Letter sent by brothers Albert and Robert (Bob) Gompers to their uncle and aunt Jules and Jet Boas in Canada after the brothers had been able to flee from Belgium to Great-Britain during the German invasion.     Very rich fond comprising of all documents relating first to CNHEJ, then IEJ. It contains the correspondence of the institute, official documents, charter depicting the goals and priorities of the institution, financial documents (1959-1977), minutes of the meetings ranging from scientific meetings to HR meetings. The fond holds also files regarding sociological research, conferences organised by CNHEJ/IEJ, applications for subsidies to the Institute of Contemporary Jewry, Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
