  1. The Kurt Grossmann Archives: Documentation regarding Kurt Grossman's activities as an advisor to the Jewish Agency and documentation regarding reparations

    In the collection there is documentation primarily regarding the background to Grossmann's activities as a press officer after World War II, along with documentation regarding the negotiations conducted between Israel and Germany concerning the reparations. The documentation includes mainly German publications regarding German legislation concerning reparations and reports of Grossmann's trips to Germany. More than half the documentation consists of press clippings.

  2. Israeli Police Investigations of Nazi Crimes: Documentation of the Israel Police unit assigned to investigate Nazi war crimes

    In the Record Group there are files prepared by the Israel Police unit assigned to investigate Nazi war crimes for use in Nazi war criminal trials. In the files there is documentation regarding criminals or locations where crimes were committed (such as camps) including protocols of testimonies, information collected by the police, and much administrative documentation regarding the investigations and the unit itself.

  4. The Gideon Hausner Collection: The prosecutor in the Eichmann Trial, 1960-1965

    In the Record Group there is a collection submitted to Yad Vashem by Gideon Hausner, the prosecutor in the Eichmann Trial. The Record Group includes protocols from the Eichmann Trial, files of documentation gathered by the prosecution in preparation for and during the trial, correspondence between the prosecution and various bodies, as well as newspaper clippings regarding the trial. The Record Group also includes a detailed psychological opinion regarding Eichmann.

    אוסף זיכרונות שכתבו ניצולים במסגרת תחרות שערך יד ושם ב-1957 ב-1957 ערכה הנהלת יד ושם תחרות חיבורים, שבמסגרתה הוטל על המשתתפים לכתוב על חוויותיהם האישיות בתקופת השואה. החטיבה כוללת 200 חיבורים.

    Correspondence of Benno Kaufmann from Basel, Switzerland, regarding aid to Jewish refugees from Germany, 1939-1947. The collection contains personal letters belonging to the persecuted detainees in the camps in France, such as the Gurs camp.

  7. Documentation of the Polish Jewish Refugee Fund in Geneva, 1933-1940

    The collection contains correspondence of Joseph Thon and Theodor Grubner, representatives of the Polish Jewish Refugee Fund in Geneva. There are also personal letters from relatives of Jews in Poland to the Polish Jews in Geneva, reports regarding the situation of the Jews in Poland and lists of Jews from Poland.

  8. The Osoby Collection: Nazi documentation from the Special Archive (Osoby) in the Soviet Union

    In the Record Groupe there is documentation from important archives in Germany, documentation confiscated by the Germans from countries they occupied during the war, documentation from Jewish archives in and outside of Germany confiscated by the Germans and more.

  9. Evidentiary Material in preparation for the Eichmann Trial

    The Collection contains evidentiary material in preparation for the Eichmann Trial, including transcripts of testimonies given to the Israel police, and copies of documents from the Holocaust period, 1933-1961

  10. Menachem Kaufmann Collection: Documentation regarding Communities in Germany, mainly in Hessen

    The files include information regarding the Jewish communities,mainly in the Hessen area, (including Jewish community-owned property) and the lives of the Jews.

  11. Documentation regarding the Holocaust from regional and local archives in Germany

    The Record Group contains documentation gathered from state, regional and local archives in Germany. In the documentation there is much information regarding the persecution of the Jews on the local level, including deportations, as well as information regarding life in the Jewish communities, Jewish property and sometimes, lists of local Jews.

  12. The Jewish Press Agency in Switzerland- JUNA - newspaper clippings collection, 1936-1965

    The collections consists of newspaper clippings, mainly about the condition of the Jewish people in Nazi occupied Europe.

  13. The Matilde Finzi-Bassani Personal Archive , Italy

    The Collection contains Matilde Finzi-Bassani's personal documentation as well as much documentation regarding the anti-Fascist underground in Italy.

  14. Maxime Steinberg Collection.

    This collection contains photocopies of original archival documents collected by Maxime Steinberg and used to write his magnum opus L’étoile et le fusil. The documents concern topics such as Jewish resistance, rescue of Jews etc. during the German occupation.

  15. Archives in Belgium.

    For the sake of completeness we mention this collection, which consists of copies of archival material from various official and institutional archives in Belgium (such as state, provincial or city archives). At the time of writing it mostly contains material from the city archives and provincial archives of Antwerp.
