    This fonds contains meeting minutes, election records, personnel records, documents relating to registry matters and to the teaching of religion, financial files, and burial society documents: statutes (1892–1906), meeting minutes, and fragmentary files. It also includes the financial register of the local Jewish women's association and book of hazkarat. The documents from 1938–1940 are mainly accounting records and related correspondence (following on from the pre-war accounting files). There are also several documents relating to social welfare for refugees.

  5. Jewish Religious Community of Brno

    This collection contains fragmentary materials that were mostly found in fonds from areas outside Brno – primarily minor printed materials: the community's statutes (1894), the statutes and annual reports of several Jewish associations, and a memorial document on the improvement of civic conditions for the Jews. From the period of the Nazi occupation there is a 1939 instruction on the obligation to register artefacts and valuable objects, agricultural and forestry land, foreign currency, and debts to foreign individuals, as well as a marriage register from 1941–1942.

    Stored in the Photo Archive Collection of the Jewish Museum in Prague are several thousand photographs taken between the start of the 1940s and the present day.     • The collection contains 90 boxes of documents (9.79 bm) organised into 79 groups and cannot be considered closed, being added to with new acquisitions. New groups could also gradually be added.

    This collection originated as a documentation of the persecution and genocide of Jews in the Czech lands excluding the archival materials relating to the history of the Terezín ghetto, which forms a separate collection. The content of the collection comprises originals, copies and transcripts of official documents and personal estates, as well as prints, newspaper clippings, maps, memoirs and a small amount of non-written material.   9. NSDAP, District Headquarters in Moravská Ostrava

    The fonds includes personal files of party members, the correspondence of the district manager, organization of local groups, cells and blocks, questionnaires about Czech businesses, personal files of members of the Deutsche Arbeitsfront, issues of German pupils, lists of women involved in the National Socialist Movement, documents of the district party trial and others. The Jewish inhabitants are mentioned in the questionnaires about Jewish businesses in Přívoz that were filled out in September and October of 1939. There is a total of 17 questionnaires.

    The fonds is a valuable source for investigating the Nazi occupation justice in the lowest instance. The court files deal mostly with legal issues of Germans and also, to a large extent, of Poles and Slovaks living within the court's jurisdiction. The fonds also contains death records of the fallen Wehrmacht members of the judicial district, persons of Reich nationality who died in the raids on Ostrava, suicides, drowned persons, and victims of injuries and accidents.     The fonds documents in its full scope the occupation and displacement policy of the Germans in the Vyškov area, whose Czech inhabitants were impacted en-masse by repressive measures.
