    This photocopied letter from Salomon Florsheim to Lola Kramarsky contains information regarding Salomon's internment in the Westerbork camp, the Netherlands, and the Theresienstadt ghetto, Tsjechoslovakia (today Czech Republic).

    This item is a work permit signed by Charles Cymring, principal of the Ecole moyenne juive de Bruxelles (Jewish Middle School of Brussels) in Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, Brussels, certifying that Henoch Kujawski worked at the school as a member of the administrative committee.

  10. Steiner-Kunstler family. Collection

    This collection contains 13 photos of the Steiner-Kunstler family, including a picture taken during a vacation at the beach, a wedding photo of Kornelia (Nelly) Steiner, a photo of the employees of a carpenter's workshop in Hungary, a photo of the Hungarian violinist "Tibi", and several studio portraits of the Steiner children and grandchildren.

    This item is a short letter sent by Else Raesener, living in Brussels, to her daughter Lea Raesener, living in Palestine, via the Red Cross only a few weeks before Else's arrest and deportation. It would be her last sign of life.

    This collection consists of two intertwined sections : (1) documents and photos regarding the annual commemoration of the attack against Transport XX in Boortmeerbeek, including the ceremonial administration and delivered speeches ; (2) research materials – largely copies of documents, testimonies and research articles – collected by Marc Michiels in preparation for his book on Transport XX. This collection is only accessible at the Kazerne Dossin documentation centre.
