Acquisition
Source of acquisition is the Istorijski Arhiv Sarajevo (Historical Archive of Sarajevo), Fond: Gradsko Poglavarstvo Sarajevo (Sign. UZN-13). The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in 2014.
Scope and Content
The collection contains records concerning confiscation of Jewish properties in Sarajevo in 1942 in favor of Independent State of Croatia (NDH). The documents include information regarding the owners including their names, addresses and property description.
