Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
Source of acquisition is the State Archives of the Modern History of the Smolensk Region (the former Smolensk Region Communist Party Archives) [Gosudartstvenny arkhiv noveyshey istorii Smolenskoy oblasti]. Excerpts from the following Fonds: 3, 5, 6, 8,50, 142, 1597,1666, 1719, 1721,1724,1737. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's International Archives purchased a filmed collection in 2007. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the microfilms in Dec. 2007.
