Acquisition
Source of acquisition is the Yad Vashem, Record Group M.1.Q. The questionnaires were created and distributed by The Central Historical Commission (CHC) of the Central Committee of Liberated Jews in the U.S. Zone, Munich. The collection was microfilmed in June 1955.The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's International Archives Project transferred microfilms to the Museum Archives in Dec. 2007.
Scope and Content
Contains 667 questionnaires gathered by the The Central Historical Commission (CHC) of the Central Committee of Liberated Jews in the U.S. Zone, Munich from selected Holocaust survivors coming from different countries and towns. The aim was to gather detailed information about the persecution during Nazi rule.

Organized in an alphabetical order: Reel 1: A-J; Reel 2: K-P; Reel 3: R-Z; Reel 4: Persons from various countries
