Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from the Departmental Archives of the Maine-et-Loire, via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum’s International Archives Project in March 2007.
Scope and Content
Contains records pertaining to the systematic harassment, imprisonment, and spoliation of Jews in the Maine-et-Loire as well as records pertaining to the Jewish internment camp at Clefs and the Roma-Sinti internment camp at Montreuil-Bellay.
