The papers consist of original and photocopies of documents, certificates, identification cards, and photographs relating to Paul Strassmann's involvement with partisans in Slovakia during World War II. Includes decrees, bulletins, accounting forms, a will, death and other certificates, ID cards, letters, tax notices, a manual, a booklet with photographs, etc. Relates to the persecution, deportations, and the expropriation of Jewish property in Slovakia under the pro-fascist regime of Josef Tiso. There also is some information about the extermination of Jews at Auschwitz-Birkenau
