Acquisition

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from the Centre de Documentation Juive Contemporaine via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archives Programs Division in 1998.

Scope and Content

This collection contains postcards sent to Drancy by French prisoners of war in German POW camps. (Many Jewish soldiers in the French army were interned as POWs.)
