Source of acquisition is the Arhivele Naţionale ale României (Romanian National Archives), Vrancea Branch. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection from the Romanian National Archives via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in August 2005 (Reels 1-24), and accretions in 2007 (Reels 25-34), 2010 (Reels 35-59), 2011 (Reels 60-62), 2015 (Reel 63).
