Acquisition
Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from the Arhivele Naţionale ale României Arhivele (Romanian National Archives) via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archives Program Division in July 2004.
Scope and Content
Contains records of surveillance of Jews and expropriation of their property in Bessarabia and Bukovina, as well as surveillance and intimidation of other minorities such as Protestants.
