Acquisition
Original records, NS 28, are located in Bundesarchiv, Berlin. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's International Archives Project exchanged the microfilms from the Yad Vashem Archives in Jerusalem, Israel. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the microfilms in June 2002.
Scope and Content
The collection features official correspondence and reports about the Hitler Youth movement, such as the ideological indoctrination and instruction of its members, the elimination of Jews from the national economy; the participation of Hitler Youth in the relocation of ethnic Germans in Poland; and the use of forced labor.
