Acquisition
Source of acquisition is the Derz︠h︡avnyĭ arkhiv Mykolaïvsʹkoï oblasti (Nikolaev (Mykolayiv) Oblast Archive), Ukraine. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archives Project in 1996.
Scope and Content
Contains lists, reports, and other documents relating to the fate of Romanian and Ukrainian Jews deported in the Golta district of Transnistria (Ukraine). The paper portion of the collection contains lists of Jews interned in the ghetto in Slivina, Ukraine (between the Dniestr and Bug Rivers).
