Pauline Buchenholz's memoir,"As I remember," describes her internment with members of her family in the ghetto in Kraków, Poland, her separation from her parents during Aktionen, her experience as an inmate at the Nazi concentration camps of Kraków-Płaszów, Skarżysko-Kamienna, and Leipzig-Schöenfeld, her survival of a death march, and her liberation. Her memoir is continued in the sequel,"The postwar years."
