Aleksander Kulisiewicz compiled the sound recordings from ca. 1964 to ca. 1981 while researching concentration camp music for his anthology. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the sound recordings along with other series in the Kulisiewicz collection in Mar. 1992. The Archives transferred all published materials from the collection, including sound recordings to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Library at that time.

Zakres i treść
Consists of cassette and open-reel tape recordings compiled by Aleksander Kulisiewicz during the years after his liberation from Sachsenhausen concentration camp. Includes recordings of songs and poetry written in concentration camps, concerts by Kulisiewicz, interviews with Kulisiewicz and other musicians, and radio and television broadcasts of Kulisiewicz's performances.
