Acquisition
The original documents were created during the German occupation of the Ukraine and captured by Soviet authorities at the end of World War II. An anonymous donor gave the photocopies of the Lʹviv Oblast Archives to the Musuem Archives in Apr. 1991.
Scope and Content
Contains photocopies of Ukrainian police documents concerning the fate of Jews in the Lemberg (Lʹviv) area. The documents relate to Jewish property, attempts of Jews to bribe the Lemberg police, and Jewish housing in Lemberg.
